Privacy Policy

Celeb Closet · Last updated: September 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Celeb Closet collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the website at https://celebcloset.app and the Celeb Closet mobile app (together, the "Service"). Celeb Closet is operated by Horizon Labs LLC ("we", "us"). If you have questions, email us at kibbleerin3@gmail.com.

Celeb Closet is for people 13 and older in the United States.

1. Information we collect

Account information. You can sign in with Google or, in the iPhone app, Apple. The provider gives us your email address and the basic profile details it shares for sign-in, such as your name and account identifier. Apple may provide a private relay email address if you choose Hide My Email. We never receive or store your Google or Apple password.

Age and agreement records. Before you sign in we ask you to confirm you are 13 or older. We store only that "yes" answer, the date, and the version of these policies you accepted. We do not ask for or store your birth date. If you subscribe, we also record the confirmations you gave at checkout and the policy version shown.

Subscription information. If you subscribe on our website, we store your subscription status, renewal date, and the customer and subscription identifiers from Stripe. If you subscribe in the iPhone app after Apple subscriptions launch, we store the entitlement and transaction identifiers Apple provides. Your card details go directly to Stripe or Apple. We never see or store them.

Partner-link information. If you arrive through a sales-referral link, we store the partner's short referral code in your browser for up to 30 days. If you start a Premium subscription during that time, we connect the code to the subscription and payment so we can calculate the partner's commission. Some partner links instead pay for qualified visits. For those links, we store the partner code, date, and a one-way hash of the same random browser identifier used for first-party product events, and count at most one visit for that partner and browser per UTC day. The CPM ledger does not store your raw browser identifier, IP address, email, or account ID. Partner links do not change your price and are not used for advertising or behavioral profiling.

Things you save. Products you save, links and prices you track, and price watches you create.

Search information. When you search, we send clothing descriptions (for example "black bomber jacket") to shopping providers to find matching products. We may also keep basic usage information needed to run the Service, such as which features you used.

First-party usage events. We record a short list of product events, such as viewing the landing page, starting or completing sign-in, completing an outfit analysis, viewing an upgrade recommendation or pricing page, starting checkout, purchasing Premium, sharing a score, and returning for another outfit. Before sign-in, the record contains the event name, its source, the time, and a one-way hash of a random browser identifier. It does not contain your email, photo, outfit details, advertising identifiers, or the original browser identifier. After sign-in, events can be linked to your account so we can understand where the experience is confusing and whether people reach the features they chose to use.

Your style profile. The aesthetics, favorite brands and colors, clothing preferences, occasions, sizes, budget, and any free-text notes you save to help the AI stylist personalize its suggestions.

Your digital closet. The pieces of clothing you add: category, color, brand, style tags, season, an optional description, and an optional photo. See section 3.

LifeMode. If you use LifeMode, we store the style, schedule, ordinary routine and product information you choose to enter, the morning and evening routine generated for you, your private avatar choices, Life XP, daily quest completions and streak. LifeMode is optional. Do not enter medical details or other sensitive information. Life XP is separate from Style Points and has no monetary value.

AI stylist chat and memory. If you use the AI stylist, we keep your messages and its replies, the outfits it suggests and your reactions to them (liked, disliked, saved), and a small set of preferences it learns from your activity (for example, that you tend to like a certain color). See section 4.

Style Community and Style Points. If you publish a saved outfit to the Style Community, we make your display name, outfit name, occasion and style, optional caption, and a text-only list of clothing pieces visible to signed-in members. We store outfit-focused reactions, Style Points, levels, badges, posting streaks, challenge entries and results, reward redemptions, and fraud-prevention information such as daily award counts. We never publish your closet photos, email address, body or face information, measurements, or shopping history. You can remove your post, and another member can report it for review.

Photo challenges. If you choose to enter a photo challenge, we keep the challenge result, including whether you completed it, which required colors were detected, and any Style Points awarded. We do not keep or publish the challenge photo. See section 3.

Leaderboard. The leaderboard is optional and off by default. If you join, we store and display a randomly generated nickname, your Style Level, and lifetime Style Points. We never display your real name, email, photo, current spendable balance, or streak on the leaderboard. You can request another generated nickname or leave at any time.

Photos you upload. What we do with a photo depends on where you upload it. See section 3.

Technical information. Like most websites, our servers and hosting providers automatically receive your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages and requests you make, and keep them in logs for security and operations.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information. We analyze clothing in photos. We do not identify people or faces and do not do biometric processing.

2. How we use information

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.

3. Your photos and AI

We send a photo to our AI provider, OpenAI, only to identify the clothing in it or, when you choose AI photo cleanup, to make a white-background version of the clothing photo. According to OpenAI's published API data controls, data sent through its API is not used to train its models unless the customer opts in, and OpenAI may keep abuse-monitoring logs, which can include submitted content, for up to 30 days. We have not opted in to training. The Service analyzes clothing; it does not identify who is in a photo.

What happens to a photo depends on where you upload it:

Upload only photos you are allowed to use, and only of clothing, not of other people.

4. Your AI stylist

If you use the AI stylist chat, it uses your style profile, your closet item descriptions (never closet photos), your message history in that conversation, and the preferences it has learned about you (below) to write its replies. Only text is sent to OpenAI for this — your message, your style profile, and closet item descriptions — plus, only when you send one, the one photo described in section 3. We ask OpenAI not to store these requests, on the same terms described there. The AI stylist talks about clothes only; it does not comment on your body, weight, or appearance.

5. Who we share information with

We use service providers who process information for us and only for the purposes we give them:

SerpApi and shop or catalog sourcesFinds matching productsClothing descriptions from your searches, including, for Premium AI stylist users, descriptions of pieces you're missing — never your account data

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people or the Service from harm or fraud, or in a sale or reorganization of our business.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use only what the Service needs to work and improve: your sign-in session, a short-lived answer to the age question, a random first-party identifier for signed-out product events, a short-lived result summary that preserves your score during sign-in, a referral code when you follow a partner link, and a Cloudflare security cookie. We use no advertising or third-party analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

7. How long we keep information

LifeMode profile, routine, avatar, XP and quest records are kept until you replace them or delete your account; browser fallback data remains until you clear site data.

We keep your account information until you delete your account. When you delete it, we delete your account and its saved data (see section 8), including your digital closet and its photos, AI stylist chats, outfits and learned preferences, Style Points account, community posts, reactions, reports, badges, challenge activity, leaderboard entry, and reward redemptions, except records we must keep for security, fraud, legal, or financial reasons. Removed community posts and reports are retained for up to 90 days for moderation, appeals, safety, and fraud review, then deleted unless we must keep them longer for one of those reasons. First-party usage events are kept only while they are useful for measuring and improving the product; signed-out events are not connected to an account. A referral code in your browser expires after 30 days. Qualified-visit records and partner payout records are kept while needed to review traffic, prevent fraud, calculate payment, and meet financial or legal obligations. We and our payment provider may keep subscription, payment, partner-commission, and refund records as required for financial, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute purposes. Server and hosting logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations, and no longer than our providers' standard retention. Outfit-search, AI-stylist, and photo-challenge photos are not stored by us at all (section 3); AI stylist chat messages and memory follow the retention described in section 4.

8. Your choices and rights

9. Children

Celeb Closet is for people 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will disable the account and delete the information. If you are a parent or guardian and think a child has used the Service, email us. Users under the age of majority in their state need a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service and to buy Premium. The AI stylist chat, including a small free trial, is available to everyone 13 and older on that same confirmation, without a separate permission step; it is built to talk about clothes only and never to comment on a user's body, weight, or appearance.

10. Security

We use HTTPS, keep account data behind access controls, store secrets only on our servers, and limit who can access our systems. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Where information is processed

The Service is intended for people in the United States. Our server runs in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and, for services like Cloudflare's global network, in other countries where they operate.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we make a material change we will update the date above and, if the change affects you, tell you on the Service or by email before it takes effect.
